Description: Nice fossil Angustidens (Megalodon ancestor) shark tooth. Recovered in South Carolina. Great preservation. Classic shape. Solid root with corner dings. Excellent bourlette and very shiny enamel. Good serrations with some dings. Tip has feeding nick. Nice colors. Solid and heavy tooth. Measures approximately 2.48" L x 1.76" W. See photos for condition. Enamel appears to have been buffed as is commonly done. From a South Carolina estate collection.
