There is some light internal dust that does not affect image quality, but the inner elements are free from fungus, haze, etc. The aperture blades are clean and snappy. Auto-Focus is fast and accurate. The barrel exhibits some minor wear but is in Good shape overall. The focus ring turns smoothly but there is a sort of gritty sound when extending the zoom. This does not affect the function of the lens and usually is indicative of dust or debris in the zoom ring. Both the mount and the filter threads are in good shape.
