Description: Here is a NOS bare 4-bolt #010 block dated May 21, 1969. After cleaning the rust off the bore measured .001" over standard. This block has been stored since the 70's, so from being stored since then it has light rust, that I have shown in photos, due to not being machined and unpainted or coated. Considering that fact, I can't guarantee the bores will only need a finish hone to be able to still run standard pistons and not need to be bored or if the deck needs to be resurfaced. It doesn't look like there are any issues. Although especially with the deck, as it has a broach cut which is a mass production style cut and even if the deck may be within spec, finer clearances can usually be had from blueprinting the deck height.
