Description: NOS Vintage Sturmey Archer Elite ST 36 Spoke hole Rear Freewheel Drum Brake Bike Hub New Old Stock Vintage Sturmey Archer Elite ST 36 Spoke Hole Rear Freewheel Drum Brake Hub. The hub is dated from 1999, Made in England and a Quality pre china hub. New Old Stock Hub in the Box, Hub is Real Nice, Has Sealed bearings, spins buttery smooth, 70mm Drum, 36 x 3mm spoke holes for Regular and Heavy Duty spokes, has threading for a single speed or multi speed freewheels. comes as shown, with axle nuts, mounting hardware, directions, cable, and brake lever. Nice hub, but can't say I am impressed with the plastic brake lever. The axle is approximately 185mm with 135mm spacing, 135mm is mountain bike standard and super wide compared to cruiser spacing, you can get other smaller spacing with removing washers, looks like 130mm, 126mm, and 120mm, spacing is achievable for multi speed freewheel use and possibly smaller spacing with single speed use.
