Description: .Description Nightmare is our purest black nylon and now comes in 1.5mm mini braids for rerooting, custom rehairing or restoration. This is an actual three strand braid and not just a double twisted strand. All our custom doll hair is 38 inches long so you can choose your perfect length! A size #1 needle is needed to reroot braids, as they are much thicker than the traditional single strand. You will need to be careful to prevent tearing of the scalp with this larger needle size. Only reroot every 3rd plug and make sure to prepoke each plug with an awl or thumbtack right before going into the hole with your size #1 needle. Warming the scalp with a hair drier or placing it on a warmer can also help soften the vinyl. This high quality nylon doll hair (termed "standard temperature" or "low heat" by other companies) is made specifically for dolls. It comes straight from the manufacturer that supplies Hasbro, MGA, and many of the world's leading toy companies! It's the same hair used in Rainbow High dolls and the original 1980's My Little Ponies. Nylon fiber is ultra soft and silky with a beautiful shine. It's supple and holds curls very well.
