OAKLEY WOODS CROQUET 9"+ SQUARE MALLET

Description: HILTON HEAD HUMANE (HHH)THRIFT OAKLEY WOODS CROQUET 9"+ SQUARE MALLET DESCRIPTION: This croquet mallet from Oakley Woods Croquet has a square faced rectangular head that measures approximately 9 1/8" long x 2 3/8" deep x 2 3/4" high. The ends have a black finish and may be metal end caps of about 1/4" in depth. The main body of the head is stained a rich reddish brown with wood grain showing and a caramel colored stripe running horizontally through the center of top of the head (excellent for lining up a shot). This head is in very good condition with minor scuffs of wear on the three upper faces. The ends show some marks of use and wearing off of the finish on the edges. The bottom of the mallet has moderate chipping of the finish around the edges. The Oakley Woods Croquet name is engraved on one side of the head. This mallet has a handle of approximately 33 1/2" in length making the total length approximately 36 1/4". The handle has a lighter finish on the wood; has been bound in a pink and yellow patterned gripping material. The lower 13+" of the handle is covered in a black foam rubber type material with a large metal nut type piece that attaches the handle to the head via a metal screw. There are several small cracks in the rubbery material at the bottom. The piece weighed 3 pounds 3.1 ounces. Please review the photographs closely and contact us with any questions.
