Boil fresh water in a kettle and allow to cool to around 80°C. Pre-heat your matcha bowl by filling it 1/3 full with hot water. Stand a whisk (Chasen) in the water for a minute to soften the bristles, then empty and dry the bowl. Add scoops (Chashaku) – about 2g - of Matcha green tea to the bowl. Pour 60-100ml of hot water into the matcha bowl and whisk for 1-2 minutes until the tea becomes frothy. Drink the matcha tea directly from the bowl. Ocha & Co.
