Description: Title: Antique Roll Top Desk Description: Presented for your consideration is this nice antique roll top desk. It is made of solid oak and features 6 small drawers on the base and a larger center drawer. In the middle of the base is a curved inward cabinet. Inside has three divided compartments, believed to be a file cabinet. Though the dividers are missing. All of the drawers easily opens and close. The desk has a roll top cover that easily opens and closes. Inside of the desk has multiple small open compartments. It has a large open writing space and the bottom panel easily slides out to have more room to work. However, the compartments are loose and tend to want to slide out with the panel. The desk is finished with beautiful ornate brass hardware and simple wooden accents along the bottom and top edges. Very heavy and very sturdy! This nice looking roll top desk would make a fantastic addition to any antique furniture collection! A great item to use every day! A gap is between the bottom and the front panel of one of the drawers. Larger drawer has a split in the bottom. One small drawer has a split in the bottom as well. One drawer has a chip of wood out of the top. There is also a chip just above this drawer in the trim of the desk. Drawers have some light to mild staining on the interior.
