Description: This is a vintage (and rare) On2 brass model of the Bridgton & Saco River (later the Bridgton & Harrison) Baldwin 2-4-4-T Forney which was first preserved at Edaville and now is at the Portland, ME narrow gauge museum. These were imported by Car Works around 1989-90 and are excellent running locomotives. Like all vintage brass it will need to be lubricated before you run it. It is DC only. The locomotive came from an estate sale and had no box and only had the plow pilot. Despite being vintage brass, it has very little tarnish, is in excellent running condition, but had to be restored to a degree from modifications done by previous owner. I built a replacement standard pilot from the old Ric Collins castings offered in the late 1960s and corrected a factory issue with the trailing truck wheelsets shorting. It now runs smoothly and is ready for conversion to DCC should you desire. Look over the photos and email with questions before you bid. I ship to the USA only via USPS Priority Mail.
