Description: This listing is for one (1) United States Marine Corps OKC 3S bayonet, with original scabbard. This particular example is real USGI, having been issued to the Marine Corps, and liquidated as government surplus. As such, this bayonet exhibits wear from its time in the Marines and Government inventory. The scabbard appears to have been fractured in two places and repaired with super glue at some point. The scabbard is still functional, and the repair seems to be holding up. The blade itself is in nice shape, retaining the original factory edge and most of its finish. Definitely still serviceable! The “3s” seems to not be in the typical bold font that the rest of the text is in. Interesting anomaly. Reference the photos for a better idea on the condition. Made in the USA by the now defunct Ontario Knife Company. Ontario Knife Company was the sole manufacturer of these bayonets, and with them having gone out of business, genuine examples of these bayonets such as this will get harder to source. This bayonet features: - 8 inch long, 0.20 inch thick, clip point 1095 carbon steel blade (1.75 inches of serrations, 6.25 inches of plain edge). - Non reflective zinc phosphate finish - Full Tang, with standard AR bayonet catch pommel - Ergonomic, grooved, Dynaflex handle with USMC emblem markings molded in - Genuine USGI Scabbard, manufactured using polyester elastomer material, which is lightweight and creates less noise - Scabbard comes with integral MOLLE webbing and a ceramic coated aluminum honing rod to maintain the blade's edge The item you see pictured is exactly what you will get.
