Description: Hello this Optimus professional series receiver has surprisingly good sound quality, and with the 10 band Equalizer, it can help you dial in the sound even more, to provide an immersive experience. It’s really a great set up. It does have some aging, and cosmetic flaws I will address. The overall sound is clean and crisp, and the general condition is good. All functions work properly. It connects at 70 watts per channel and allows for connections for 2 tape decks, a cd player, a turntable, a laser disc player, and one extra post for another audio source such as DCC. Connections with easy red/white audio connections. The functionality is great. Cosmetically speaking it has a few flaws. For 1.) these sat for a while. I have cleaned the units top to bottom but there is still some dust in really tight spaces. At general view they look good but as you look very finely up close you can see the dust in nooks and crannies, around the buttons and whatnot. These units come with some general scratching, wear and tear, though nothing too excessive, with the exception of the mark on top of the Equalizer which sticks out more. For 2.) at the red and white audio connection posts on the back of the unit, there is light oxidation speckled pitting. It’s not too bad but it is there. It’s from dust sitting on the posts. It does not have any influence on the functioning of it. It could even be removed if one wanted to but it’s kind of pointless too. It’s the back of the unit so… out of sight out of mind. 3.)The wires are all in good shape, again they come with dust and aging but are for the most part clean and aren’t bad. I have included detailed photos of these pros and cons of the units, I have given a detailed explanation of the units.
