Description: scroll down for more photos You have most likely heard of US Photographer Burton Holmes! This is his original movie camera, used to take some of the most famous footage, some of it becoming the famed burton holmes travelogues! If this camera could talk....... This camera, without doubt traveled the oceans and continents with the master photographer It has a small factory plaque under the turret mount that identifies it as belonging to burton holmes travelogues! It is my understanding that he had commissioned a few of these cameras directly from Kodak, the plaque is all original, is nicely recessed and factory made. Camera also has a sticker on top with a handwritten "2" on it, most likely to denote this is camera #2. The camera works great, winds up smooth and runs well, it comes with the magazine and 4 lenses it came with, ----Kodak Cine Ektar 15mm f2.5 lens----kodak cine ektar 25mm f1.4 Lens----kodak anastigmat 102mm f2.7 lens----kodak cine ektar 152mm f4 lens It also comes with some frames, finders, filters and other odds n ends.----also, quite significantly, it comes with 3 original letters, sent between 1954 to 1957, one to Mr and Mrs Burton Holms, and two letters with burton holmes headers, all complete with contents. One of the recipients, mrs mallet, is the wife of mr robert mallet who took over the burton holmes travelogues just before mr Burton's death, and continued them for many years after that! Complete package, very important and historic camera!scroll down for more photos We do our best to send items at the cheapest and safest route.
