The signature appears to say 1950, but the 1 is raised above the 950, so I'm not certain that is the date. Judging from the smocked dress on the little girl, a 1950s time frame would fit quite well. Drawing appears to be pastel with pencil possibly. I am not an expert so please examine the photos and judge for yourself. In good pre-owned condition. There are a few smudges to the drawing mostly noticed above the head. This is a loose style drawing so the smudges could be intentional. They certainly fit in unnoticed. Please see photos for condition details. This portrait will be shipped flat. I could roll it, but the medium is not fixed and would easily smudge. I do not want to see the picture get damaged.
