Description: Old calendar for the year 1925 has all 12 months intact. Advertising is for D.S. Ackerman Clothing, Hats, Caps, and Gents' Furnishings and Shoes- Custom Tailoring a Specialty. The business was located in St. Johnsonville, New York. The calendar features a sweet old print that is attached to the backing at the top. It is titled lower center "An Armful Of Joy". There is no artist's signature present, but it is by R. Atkinson Fox. (Also very similar to some of the works of Beatrice Tonnesen or L. Goddard). Underneath the print on the backing it is marked copyright John Baumgarth Company, Chicago. The print is of a young mother and her toddler aged little girl. Colors of the print are excellent- the little girls dress is still white and there is minimal wear to the print. Wonderful condition for being almost 100 years old. The calendar backing does have some issues. It is darkened from age with edge and corner wear and missing lower left corner. Measurements of the entire calendar are 10 1/4 x 16 1/4 inches. The lithograph print measures 7 3/4 x 9 1/2 inches. Please view photos and ask any questions. This will be mailed flat between cardboard. Will combine mailing on multiple purchases whenever possible. Have some other vintage and antique art, as well as other old calendars currently listed and will be listing more in the future, so check back. Thanks for looking.
