Description: This is an original, classic, vintage mid 1970s "h.i.s. for" her denim, A-line skirt. The skirt buttons down the front and is made of 7 panels. There are two front, side pockets. There are 7 metal buttons down the front. Six buttons are original "Militaires Equipments". The seventh button is a replacement button by "French Toast" which is slightly smaller but similar design.The skirt only has the label for the manufacturer. There are no other labels for size, material content or place of manufacturer. There were limited requirements for labeling of clothing when this was made. The size would be about a 7 junior. This is a very full skirt and falls about 4 - 5" below the knee. The measurements are (as laid flat)Waist - 12 1/2"Length down center from top of waistband - 25 1/2"Bottom - 38" The fabric is in very good condition. (There appears to be a contemporary "His for Her" clothing company. This skirt is from the original company which manufactured clothes starting in the 1970s.)
