Communist propaganda widely used free time activities like sport for these purposes and literally for consolidation of power in country. Many sport clubs arose together with army detachment or inside the army itself and these activities were offered for people like bonus of this profession, they have been supported and the most successful sportsmen were presented like the ideal citizens - healthy, sporty and perfectly prepared for defense of their homeland.
