The blade is stamped “Wilkinson” (manufacturer name, partially obscured but confirmed as Wilkinson Sword Co.), with a three-digit marking above (possibly a batch or inspection number) and an “X” stamped on the opposite side, indicating a bend test for strength. The blade has surface rust but no cracks or significant damage, retaining its structural integrity. Note that this bayonet does not include the scabbard. A great piece for collectors of historical military artifacts or for restoration projects.
