ITEM: Original WWII Snapshot Photo of BOMBED RUINS of NUREMBERG, Germany, 1945. Apparently Sergeant Cooney had a friend or brother who served in the ETO who gave this to him. Photo came from Sergeant Dan Cooney, Jr. of Columbus, Ohio who was in the famous 319th Bomb Squadron, 90th Jolly Rogers Bomb Group in the Pacific Theater. Some of his photos show 319th Bomb Squadron Signs and Jolly Rogers Skull & Crossed Bombs on the tails of B-24s. He was apparently on the crew of "Margie", though I do not know if he was in the air crew or the ground crew. SORRY.
