Description: Orion Binoculars for astronomy, 11X80, 4.5 deg. field, fully multi-coated, BAK4 prisms, in excellent condition.--These binoculars were seldom used. Comes with original lens covers and leather hard case w/strap.--Also included is a tripod mounting L-bracket. --I bought this jewel new in the mid 90's and have been the only user. Current research found that Orions at that time were made by Vixen in Japan as was some Celestron models. Please do your own research if this is important.--It weighs over 5 pounds and can't effectively be used as hand-held. A sturdy tripod will be necessary.--I am not accepting a return unless I have misrepresented this item.
