Description: This is a beautiful jar made by Oud Delft for Colonial Williamsburg in 1972 as part of the Williamsburg Restoration program. It is a copy of a jar that is in the collection of Colonial Williamsburg - there is a picture of it in the photos for your reference. It is about 10.5 inches high and 7 inches wide in diameter. Condition: Good condition but please be aware this vintage item is now 50+ years old. It has some light crazing in places - hardly visible unless you are looking for it - Please see the photos for confirmation - they are not very noticeable at all and are minimal. There is a slight nip on the bottom rim of the jar which may have been there from original production when it was fired. I have a photo of the nip as well. History information about the jar in the Colonial Williamsburg collection - Storage Jar, ca. 1720.Jar with ovoid body, slightly flanged neck, and everted base. Blue tin glaze decorated in blue with stylized floral borders above and below four vertical panels: one with a vase of flowers, another with a man drinking at a table, one with a city landscaped and a standing man, and one with a city landscape and a standing man holding a bow. Unglazed slightly recessed base. Any questions, please ask and happy bidding!
