Description: Pair of antique chintz curtains with a banded floral design. These are from my parents antique home, and I think that they date from the 1930's. The background is a pleasing greyish green, with coral and brown colored flowers, and an eggplant color in the vertical band and the flowers. Each panel measure 49 1/2" tall and 32" wide at the bottom. As you can see, they are lined, and the lining has darkened from use. I think my mother put these up in the winter and put a lighter pair up in the summer so as not to fade them. Then she just left the lighter colored pair up all the time as she got older. There's a bit of darkening below the pleats, (8th photo), but does not extend down any farther than about 5-6" below the pleats. Also, a tiny bit of indoor paint (10th photo) that I didn't try and remove. (Didn't see until I took the pictures). There's a makers name that is partially covered by the lining, last photo. Thanks for looking, please feel free to ask a question if you have one. (I have two more pair of these)
