Spacesuits Orlan have been created to use by multiply cosmonauts and have all the necessary adjustments. Unlike emergency Russian spacesuits Sokol, they have not been made individually. That's why the gloves have no initials of a cosmonaut on them. The presented pair of gloves has incomparable advantages: originally created by NPP "Zvezda" the gloves are the part of the famous Russian EVA space suit Orlan-MK; these gloves are the recent model GP-10M what is currently in use by cosmonauts and astronauts; the gloves are in perfect condition and can be attached to spacesuit Orlan-MK; the COA can be added for these gloves by buyer's request; the gloves are in excellent 'like new' condition. The family of spacesuits Orlan were used for Russian EVA's outboard Salyut, Mir, and the International Space Station. The spacesuit Orlan was designed by the Zvezda OKB, and derived from the Kretchet suit intended for use on the lunar surface. It consists of flexible limbs attached to a one-piece rigid body with helmet unit. The suit is entered through a hatch in the rear of the torso. The hatch door houses the life support equipment. Maximum operation time is 7 hours, but the record of 8 hours and 7 minutes was reached when the spacesuit was used by cosmonauts Oleg Kotov and Sergey Ryazanskiy in 2013. The integrated design meant that no external hoses are required, unlike the American space suits. The suit standard pressure is 0.40 atmospheres, so that a pre-breath period of only 30 minutes is required. The space suit is controlled via the panel on its chest.
