Description: Sale is for a PAIR of cables. These are temporary analog specialty cables, removed from analog touring kits. They are vintage problem solvers used in temporary sound reinforcement to resolve ground loops without disruption or modification to existing systems or infrastructure. Pins 2 and 3 (carrying a balanced signal) are connected as expected. Pin 1 (ground) is lifted at one end. When inserted into an existing line connection a ground loop between systems (for example: FOH and Stage, or a rack and external gear) is interrupted, while the clean signal is allowed to pass. FYI:This is a quick solution for temporary field work and resolves one ground loop path at a time on an already closed system (one in which you may not be able to make other changes to resolve the issue. Sold in pairs to accommodate a Left + Right send or return.
