Description: This pair of vintage wall plaques features the sweetest anthropomorphic vegetables, Mr. Beet and Mrs. Cabbage in their gardening attire. Measuring 8 inches in length, 4 inches in width, and 1 inch in height, these chalkware/plaster plaques are perfect for adding a touch of whimsy to any wall space. These wall plaques were handmade and are marked 'Hand painted by Aunt Katie's'. These veggie heads are a fun and unusual addition to any collection. You will LOVE them! Excellent vintage condition. A small rough spot on Mrs Cabbage's base - see close-ups - looks to me like there may have been paint loss and it was touched up. Not really noticeable when displayed.
