Description: 2 Paphs Paph Barbato - Purpuratum (barbatum x purpuratum) new growth starting Paph Vexillarium x fairrieanum 2 growth plant pictures taken 12/06, both in bloom, not sure how long flowers will last , consider blooming size apx 2.5 " pot, IMPORTANT : I combine shipping. I drop plants off at FedEx, UPS or the USPS - they will not be exposed to heat or cold here. I am not responsible for plants that are left out in the cold. It is your responsibility make sure someone is there to take receive plants. If there is an issue with this contact me before buying and we'll see what we can do, perhaps hold for pickup. I cannot be responsible for any damages that occur due to shipment delays, this is out of my hands. The carriers are not covering losses for perishables at this time and I cannot eyither. NO shipping to Alaska & Hawaii. States that require I ship bare root in spag moss. Carriers are no longer guaranteeing shipping times. I cannot guarantee shipping times & cannot be responsible for packages lost by the post office. I have a certified orchid nursery and love my plants. I do my best to describe plants accurately. The pictures are a major part of the description. If something is in spike when listed it may be in bloom by the time it is purchased. I try to put the date in listing of when pictures were taken - please take note of this - if it was a day or two ago the plant will most likely be at the same stage when bought - if it is a week or more later things may have changed. It is up to you to ask any questions - orchids grow, bud & bloom. By the time they get to you they may be in a different stage. If I have forgotten to list the date pictures were taken and you are concerned about stage pls ask me. Assume you are buying blooming orchid. Sometimes orchids loose leaves this does not mean there is a problem. If you have ever seen an orchid with a leafless growth, that growth, at one time, had leaves and they naturally fell off. Some plants are more prone to this than others, some are deciduous. A note on fragrance. I only list as fragrant if they are commonly known to be fragrant. I may note I have noticed to be fragrant. Please note since peoples olfactory systems can vary you may not notice a fragrance that others do. I have MANY orchids sometimes even to me they look alike. I always match the plant to the pictures before they go out. By buying from me you are accepting the 1 in several hundred chance you may get a plant that looks very much like the picture but I mixed it up with another. If so it's an honest mistake and does not warrant ugly responses or major message stalking. Most orchids are fairly easy to grow but there may be some necessary learning involved. Sometimes things don't go well especially for novices, mistakes can be made.(Sometimes the best learning comes from loosing a few.) Everyone is not a stellar grower. The easiest way to kill an orchid is by over watering (that can happen quickly). Ionly sell healthy plants & cannot replace orchids you have kept and killed. If, Upon arrival, if you have an issue contact me IMMEDIATELY, within a day or 2 of receipt. I will do my best to remedy, DO NOT wait weeks. Once in your possession & care their health is your responsibility. Having said that, sorry I needed to, I try my best to keep everyone happy.
