Description: Beautiful Paragon Bone China Cup - Made in Longton, Stafforsshire, England. Printed Makers Mark dates it to 1939-49 per Kovals page. Paragon high handled and footed cup with soft pink rose with gold trim. Paragon was the only manufacturer that featured the sought after floating pink cabbage rose. The rose sits on a soft yellow base and the outer cup is a soft pink. This cup and saucer date back to 1939 - 1949. It has remained in excellent condition over the years. My Aunt who lived in Manhattan during the 1930’s was a collector of fine art and china. During a visit to New York she gifted me with this set which I have cherished for many years.
