It is dated January 10, 1989. Hungary issued this type or design 100 Forint from 1957 until 1989. There are eight different dates to collect, this being the last. The communist government of Hungary ended peacefully on October 23, 1989, when Hungary officially proclaimed the “Third Hungarian Republic” marking the end of the “People’s Republic” of Hungary.
