I absolutely assure you that there is NOT any actual RADIUM present in any of the ingredients (as shown in the last photo), so this is NOT a bar of soap made from pure RADIUM! For many of us "older" folks, our first "exposure" (hmmm...better word...awareness) to RADIUM was from the glowing hands on an older watch or clock. There is a VERY unfortunate story behind this and you may be upset to be so "enlightened" but it is definitely worth your time to read "The RADIUM Girls." Even if you just Google this for a short version, it tells the sad, horrendous and horrifying story and deaths of the unwittingly innocent women who gave their lives (SPOILER ALERT...THIS WAS CORPORATE MURDER!!!!) to paint these clocks and watches, while their bosses worked in distant and shielded rooms. IMPORTANT PHOTO NOTE: Besides its gift box, each ELEMENT SOAP comes wrapped in plastic to protect it. I did NOT unwrap these to take the photos...obviously! As a result, the wrinkles, bubbles, reflections, "blemishes" on the lettering (or "missing" letters/numbers) which are ALL evident in my photos, are because of this wrapping, NOT any sloppy craftsmanship in any individual, hand-crafted piece. These are all first quality or the Chief Bubble-maker would NEVER have sent these to me! My photos are MY headache!
