Loaded with black and white images and maps, most of them never seen by many; it’s awesome! A great addition to any historical library. Book fairly sound, with the exception of a beginning split between front glue down. Front and back glue downs are beautiful paintings of war-time scenes against maps of the era. Outer cover boards are faded, have crumbling, corner damage, chips knocked out, etc., and spine cover is gone. However, all inside pages, verbiage present, fine. Text block edge darkened with age.
