After a long history they closed in 1973. The brand is now owned by Pabst. In 1955 the fictitious Piel's Bros owners Bert and Harry appeared as part of their clever advertising. (like Sesame Streets Bert and Ernie). I purchased a bunch of vintage N.Y. Piel's beer memorabilia from a retired collector. Trays, cans, bottles, coasters and lots of signs and lights. Please see other listings. This is a set of s&p shaker beer bottles advertising. Comes in original box. Condition is very good. Metal caps. One labels glue has dried up and fallen off. Box covered with stains from crappy storage practices. 4 inches tall. Nice vintage collectibles. Item has been turned and rotated so that all sides are pictured.
