Simple to install with a 6mm hex wrench,the machined aluminum components work smoothly. The bolt that expands the wedge has an 8Nm torque specification. The system features the expanding wedges,the internal bolt and a guide cap. Pinarello provides an aluminum Top Pre-load Cap and 5mm hex bolt anda rubber fitment that pops right into that bolt to prevent water from entering around the fastening boltand providing a finished look. The guide cap will rest on the surface of the steerer tube end,so you can factor that in when cutting your stack height. It is important that your steerer tube be cut with a square end so the guide cap will sit flush and even.Always use a quality cutting guide with a carbon appropriate saw blade for best finished results.
