Description: This work of art named "Pinto" is individually hand made by native craftsmen/women in Bolivia.The Alpaca is raised for food and the skins are used for clothing and home decor. The center fur pieces are about 1" thick and the borders are 2.5" to 3" thick. Most people say it's the softest silkiest fur they've ever felt. Each piece is hand cut from different pelts and fitted together like a jig saw puzzle. These are full small pelts with pieces added. Due to the different textures and colors of the pelts each creation is unique. No two are identical even when the exact same pattern is used. They are useful, valuable and a constant source of pleasure.
