In 75 chapters, text mostly in English, with some Greek and a bit of Hebrew and Latin. A few footnotes.pp. 375-378: Three indices. In fair condition: gilt on spine is clear and bright; binding is strong but cocked, with pages 83-86 loose but in no danger of separation; most pages are foxed; light penciled word on p. 320; small chips at top edges of pp. 177-80, significant wear at edges and corners of boards; small pieces missing at top and bottom of spine; spine has closed tears at top of gilt title.
