My Grading Scale: Mint (M): A pack fresh card with little to no blemishes. Clean surface. No scratches, scuffing, etc. (may have a factory ding on a corner or edges). PSA Gradable Quality Near-Mint or better (NM): Ranges from pack fresh to showing minor surface/edge wear at most (such as feint scratches, and/or few whitening spots on back edges). Nothing serious. Excellent (EX): Shows minor to moderate surface/edge wear (scratches can become more noticeable and/or whitening along back edges more evident. Some cases just a minor crease/bend/dent mark knocking it down from NM). Played (PL): Shows moderate to major surface/edge wear (scratches, scuffs, and whitening along back edges even more noticeable, possible bend/crease marks, dents, frayed edges, etc). Damaged (DMG): Shows major surface/edge wear, i.e., a heavily played card that can show all sorts of play wear and damage (may include stains, writing, fading surface, water damage, wrinkles, etc). These cards are usually heavily discounted. Great as gifts or to boost start a collection!
