It measures 33 inches across(pit to pit) and 36 inches in length from the top of the collar to the bottom hem so it's plenty roomy and will probably even work as a 6XL according to the Polo sizing chart. The shirt is brand new with tags so would make a great gift if you don't want to keep it for yourself and you can get it here for a fraction of the retail price($59)!
