Gerald J. Kauffman, PhD, PE, is an experienced water resources and watershed management engineer. He is the director of the University of Delawares Water Resources Center and was appointed as Delawares first water coordinator in 1999. He holds faculty appointments in the University of Delawares Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering and School of Public Policy and Administration. Dr. Kauffman holds a bachelor of science degree in civil and environmental engineering from Rutgers University and a master of public administration degree in watershed policy and a doctorate degree in marine policy, both from the University of Delaware.
