Description: WELCOME TO OUR NATIVE "OLD PAWN" ANTIQUE POSTCARD SALE!I recently came across a very large old collection of Antique Native American Postcards dating mainly from 1904-1909. This collection must have been put together apprx. 70-80 years ago. Included in the collection are Rare Early Real Photo Post Cards, Papooses, Family Scenes, Embossed Cards, Cards with Glitter, Important Tribal Chiefs, Advertising Cards and Cards with the Fred Harvey Logo. The majority appear to be from 1900-1909. I say this as the cards that have postmarks are mainly from those years and the ones not postmarked are the same style, manufacturer and paper type. Very few cards are the more common ones from the later 1930-40's. There will be cards in all price ranges and I will try to list a handful daily so Please Come Back Often! They are all lovely Native American Images worthy of framing and displaying in your house/office. In Addition to the the Skilled Craftsmanship that the Native Americans possessed, they also went to great work to use stones that have special natural powers. The most common, Turquoise was mined in several states in the Southwest and is a stone of Strength. It purifies the body and dispels negative energy. It is also known to aid in the absorption of nutrients, enhances the immune system and for detoxification of the body. Red Coral is another favorite of the Native American. They would trade for this beautiful stone as it's not indigenous to their lands and is a stone of Diplomacy. It brings Inner Peace helps to Accelerate the Transfer of Knowledge. It's easy to see why they chose these stones for their stunning jewelry! Many of our pieces include beautiful Spiderweb Turquoise and the deep stunning Red Coral that is only found in the early pieces. It is hard to guarantee the exact mine each stone came from but we do our best to honestly "guesstimate" the region from our current knowledge and the dealers/estates etc. we purchase from. If you like this great piece, Please view our other listings for more great finds that I'm sure you'll enjoy. Add us to your favorite sellers and check back for more hard to find "Old Pawn" and "Fred Harvey Era" items & more! We'll try to find something for everyone! Thanks Last but not least, Alcoholism is the number one health problem in the Native Community and I know from personal experience that 12 Step Programs can help individuals suffering from this deadly disease. Donations from this ebay hobby are used to help Native Americans struggling with this disease. These funds may be sent to a 12 Step Program affiliated with Native Americans to be used for various needs like literature or conventions. To more locally, helping a local Navajo homeless who is still suffering. Every little bit can help and this is a small way to help the descendants of these Native Americans from the past who gave us these fine pieces to enjoy!
