Please enjoy! **My hobby started a ways back with an old man who lived in the rocks and had a collection of marvelous stories which he gifted to me and I am eternally grateful. I've learned and experienced much since the beginning. Very exciting!I believe the prehistoric (Pre-OUR History) peoples utilized the various colors, qualities and fossils already present in the rocks to create pictures, stories or likeness' to things they knew from their environment and created beautiful works of art and tools and possibly even mascots (Effigies) for their clans and tribes. As well as used symbolically for their shamans for medicine, totems... Heck!, maybe even toys or game pieces! **There are so many different things to see at different angles and lighting. Many faces, some human, some animal and possibly extinct animals and mythological creatures and ancient symbols**. These are just my thoughts. I know there are plenty to claim it's all just paradolia, and maybe they are right in some cases. I can understand because it's hard, once you get bit by the bug. not to see something in practically everything. BUT, there Are those Gems that can not be denied as having been touched by human hands from some time so long ago. You feel it in the stone. It speaks to you. That's the magic of these rocks.
