Description: I have for sale a 20th century United States mint medal for President William H. Taft. This medal was struck after 1900. The medal is bronze, it is three inches in diameter and in uncirculated condition. The obverse shows the raised bust of WILLIAM H. TAFT with his name at the rim. The reverse reads INAUGURATED - PRESIDENT OF THE - UNITED STATES - MARCH 4 - 1909. At the top it shows Columbia, seated, bearing in her left hand a scroll. In the background it shows the Capitol building. At bottom rim it shows a laurel branch with ribbon inscribed E. PLURIBUS UNUM.
