Description: Beautiful antique early 1900s primitive patchwork quilt. This quilt is made from nice old vintage cotton fabrics. There is quite a mix of unique old fabrics, the 9 patch squares measure roughly 3/4 inches square. It is hand tied and backed with a very nice old cotton print. It is quite heavy, the batting could be wool. I am not positive. The side borders look as if it could have been added later. This quilt is in AS FOUND vintage condition, there are age related spots, several areas of damage which does not go all the way through-just to the batting. (as shown). I have not laundered this lovely quilt. This quilt measures 68 inches by 83 inches. The pictures do not capture the true charm of this lovely gem. I am always happy to answer questions.
