Description: This tiny Wabanaki birch bark canoe is only 3.5" long and 1.5" high at bow or stern, 5/8" high at center and 1" across at widest (center) It has tidal sweetgrass wrapping the edges and used to sew and bind it together. Made between 1940-80... - souvenir item - made and sold in Maine, Vermont, Eastern Canada... IF you would like this to be an ornament.. you can carefully use needle and whatever color thread you like, a piece at least 6" or more long- and secure the thread under sweetgrass binding at bow and stern. OR you can "leave note for seller" asking me to do that .. suggesting what color thread you would like and if you would like a shorter or longer hanging thread. ....... If you do not suggest a color I will use a tan to match the sweetgrass binding already there. If you purchase more than 1 item from me... put all items in cart and wait to pay for all at 1 time. You will save on shipping - If you haven't done this and you buy 2 or more items at nearly same time - paying for each item separately ..& . IF I can put them all in same box I will refund you any excess shipping charges and email you that I have done so.
