Description: Queen beautifully signed rare 1989 Queen Productions publicity photograph boldly signed in black felt tipped pen by Freddie, Brian, John and Roger. I’ve never seen this photograph completely signed by the band, this is an extremely rare find. The photowas taken by well known Queen photographer Simon Fowler during the filming for the song Breakthruand used to promote their The Miracle album. The photograph measures 9 1/2 X 7 1/2 and has been professionally trimmed (from 8 X 10), see rear image of the photo for the remnants of the masking tape and the four paste blotches that are completely dry and there’s no bleed through to the other side of photo whatsoever. One can only guess what promotional purpose this photograph was used for The Miracle album. Print ads? Whatever it was, once they were done with it, someone asked the band to sign it for them and they did. The signature placement, especially Freddie’s is really nice. The first time I saw Queen in concert was on their first American tour, when they were the opening act for Mott The Hoople’s six night run on Broadway at the Uris Theatre here in New York City in 1974. it was easy to see that it wouldn’t be long afterwards for them to achieve superstardom. These signatures are a new acquisition and will come with a Certificate of Authenticity from PSA/DNA. Feel free to email me with any questions that you may have.
