Shipments of the R-6 occurred in late 1944. This manual contains 26 scanned pages, is numbered AN 01-230HC-1, and is dated 5 July 1945. The R-6 did not serve in front line units during World War II, but did serve in the United States Army Air Forces/U.S. Navy in a secondary role.
