Race Used Sparco R509 Racing Suit Canadian Driver Scott Maxwell

Description: Up for sale is an authentic size 54 Sparco Model R509 racing suit that was used by Scott Maxwell when he drove in the Rolex Sports Car Series - Championship of the Americas. Scott Maxwell is a Canadian race car driver who was inducted into the Canadian Motorsport Hall of Fame in 2013. This suit was manufactured in 2005. I am not recommending this to be used as a current day racing suit, although perhaps it would work for a weekend go-karter. I would suggest it would look great as a display in a garage or in a “man cave.” Sizing – If this suit is to be used as a display only, this is not as important. As I mentioned it is size 54. As a reference I am 5’10” 185lbs in decent shape and I can just get in the suit, but it is admittedly a very tight fit. As far as condition this is a multi race warn suit showing the following: 1. Collar wear 2. A small hole on the front left side at belt height (see second last picture). 3. The Sunoco sponsorship patch on the left front has lost a few stitches (see last picture). 4. General wear and slight discolouration, in particular on the white coloured sections of the suit.
