Description: Ranger was a brand made by Colonial Knife Company, Providence, RI between 1938 and 1951, according to Goins'. This knife is in SUPREME condition for its age. It has Kimball Midwest on the show-side. Kimball Midwest has been around since 1923. They are a leading manufacturer in tools, hardware, and shop supplies. See pics for description and condition. This thing is a BEAST. 4" closed. Very strong snap. I'd say this was definitely Colonials better-built knife line.
