Description: I bought this radio a LONG time ago NEW as a backup to my President HR2510. It's been modified. I tested it out for about a half hour, and re-packed it in the box. I lost the manual, but it's easy enough to find anywhere online for free. I pulled it out of the closet a day ago, after sitting in there for over 2 decades. I connected it using a different power cord in my truck, used an old K40 magnetic mount antenna, and tested it out. I was pulling in signals from all over as skip is running again, and made numerous contacts, all of whom said I sounded loud and proud from all over the eastern part of the United States since I live in the west and at that time of day, the skip flows that way. I brought it back into the house and connected it up to a power supply and an old Pace mobile rear connector antenna and have just been listening all day since this morning to make sure everything is working properly. The display is super bright, along with the radio itself, as you can see from the pictures, looks like brand new. It really isn't a "Used" radio, as it has a mere hour of use, and now just as a receiver for the day. Buy with confidence. These don't come around too often in this kind of shape anymore.
