Description: Dated 1889-1891 42 star Parade Flag made of starched muslin with print dye. Parade Flags like this are a piece of American history as they were produced on a roll, printed on one side, attached to wooden sticks using adhesive, and then shipped to Hardware and General Stores in packages, which would sell to the general public for ceremonies. This one was most likely for a 4th of July celebration. This came off a wooden pole! Great piece of American history!100% authentic.
