Description: From a Connecticut Estate Auction comes this Rare 1903 Antique Adie & Lovekin, Ltd. ENGLISH STERLING SILVER SERVIETTE/NAPKIN CLIP. This lovely little clip hooks into a button hole and the napkin fits into the circular piece and locks down when the bead, as shown in the photo with the measuring tape, is moved to the bottom of the piece. When it's in that position, the napkin will stay in place. As shown, this is marked for the Birmingham, England maker Adie & Lovekin, Ltd with the year mark for 1903. It is approximately 1 1/2” long and weighs approximately 5 grams. As shown, it is in excellent antique condition with no defects that I note.
