A rare and in my opinion a superior design.This one has just the three bells on a distinctive solid mahogany shield shaped back board. Most of the others have distractingattachments. And the sound is magnificent, clear and resonate! Sounds much like the oldNBC chime for our early TV years This is an early model. the last patent date is 1915...this one was made within a few years of that date.
