Description: This rare 1930s English “ Greys Deluxe" litho hinged 20 cigarette tin, measuring 3” x 3 3/8" x 3/4" is in good condition with no rust, one small crease on the lid and some minor age related paint scratches and chips. Much of the original high gloss finish remains. The hinge is in excellent condition. This very attractive bright green tin with white, red and gold graphics features advertising for “The Greys” brand of cigarettes. The brand was named after “The Royal Scots Greys Cavalry of the British Army Regiment”. The cigarettes were manufactured by the United Kingdom Tobacco Company, London, England.
